Hypogeo is Nicola Grigatti’s dark progressive project, already well known as Coma Sector, combo Darkpsy founded in 2004 together with his close friend Luca Folli (aka Anx-Void Controller). Nicola’s musical career begins in 1999 when he starts attending guitar lessons. One year after he sets up with Luca and other friends the band Entropy Engine, clearly dedicated to avant-garde death-metal structures. It’s in these years, 2001/2002, that Nicola and Luca begin to move rapidly to the first italian rave parties, mainly around Bologna (Link and Livello 57) where they discover electronic under-world movement. At that time Luca was already playing tekno-industrial with various machines & sinths and Nicola, fascinated by that world, goes straight after him and buys his first groovebox, a ROLAND MC909. He composes 2 liveset with it, tekno and psy. Feeling dissatisfaction, in Nicola’s lab the MC909 leaves place to a good PC with Cubase Sx3 wired to a CLAVIA Nordmodular G2. After a couple of years testing under the nickname plastic choice the duo give birth to coma sector project, meeting with a huge international success. Coma Sector releases appear on the best known psychedelic trance labels, such as Parvati rec., FreeRadical rec., Goanmantra rec. At the same time Nicola starts another successful collaboration with another italian producer and friend, Dust, releasing 4 tracks as comadust.
After some years of fast and furious bpm Nicola feels he needs to wind down and begins creating tracks ranged between 130-140 bpm that immediately get the psychedelic, deep industrial make-up already developed with ComaSector, but now more mental and hypnotic. Here the search for sound clearly drives back to Nicola’s roots, mainly draining from EBM/Industrial and his favourites darkwave bands (among the others:Front Line Assembly, Skinny Puppy, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Joy Division, Bauhaus etc.).
It’s March 2010 when Hypogeo releases a digital EP – Wars Worms and Whores - under the wing of the well known autralian label Zenon rec., spreading his renewed sound in the skies of darkprogressive world. rapidly other releases for GlitchyTonic rec and Uroboros rec follow this EP and before 2010 ends more are going to come out for Zenon rec. and Soundcraft rec.
Nowadays he is working at a full-lenght debut for Zenon rec, that will be hopefully released at the end of 2011.

"Coma Sector" is a project born in November 2006 from the sound fusion between 2 Italian artists and friends, AnX & HypoGeo, during an illuminating holiday trip to Goa.
The 2 artists have the same cultural background: cyberpunk, industrial music, psychedelia & altered states of mind and loads of party spirit. Musically active since 2000, they played together in a death-prog metal band, “Entropy Engine”. In 2002 they started their first electronic experiments with an industrial touch.
In 2003 they began to collect their first friendships and experiences bound to the world of raves, thing that hurled the 2 artists into the world of electronic music and illegal parties. In 2004, together with the master of ceremony THX, they melt to form the tribe “INTERZONE INC.” and started to organize and play in various rave parties, with a hardware live set first made of techno and minimal, and later with a more psychedelically oriented style and sound.
With the project COMA SECTOR their aim has been blending together 2 different styles of 2 very closed friends: the martial grooves, analogic basslines and dark atmospheres of Annxia mixed with the cyberdelic rhythms and psychotic synths of Plastic Choice to create the unique sound of COMA SECTOR, a special and researched style of psytrance that puts together the dark and hypnotic tones of dark trance with the dynamic grooves of full on, with many references to the worlds of experimental and industrial music.

Assioma is a psychedelic project started in 2007 in Spinea, a small town close to Venice, between two friends: Francesco (aka Prado) and Andrea (aka Cada).
Its unique sound stems directly from the psychedelic trance mixed with an extensive knowledge of rock music.
Assioma is developing an individual style based upon a great variety of musicality: strong pumping basslines, driving grooves and psychedelic synths brings you to a new dimension of crazy sounds!
The Assioma's philosophy gives you an unique positive energy on the dance floor thanks to a twisted sound and an innovative style of arrangement.

Psyzanca is Michele Zancato, a psytrance producer from Padua, Italy. Psyzanca’s debut releases were his two tracks “Unreal Reality” and “Copyright Violation “ which both appeared on the Twisted Mysteries 1.5 compilation released in April 2011 via Fish ‘n Trips Records. The Psyzanca style represents the borderline between full on and darkpsy, always powerful, laden with pounding kick and basslines often with some melody, then all bought together into balance with gnarly break downs and re-entry’s. With only 2 years production behind him, Zanca is set to make a strong mark on the global psytrance community with his relentless beats and dedication. He pushes listeners towards a state of delirium where his boundaries are beyond the edge of the universe, in the space between spaces.
