BARAKAH DANCE FESTIVAL 6th – 8th July 2012
Join us for the celebration of the eternal dance of the universe in this outdoor psychedelic trance gathering.
Delivering a line-up packed with psychedelic night through to psychedelic morning music!
Space Babylon continues its tradition of celebration in unity and peaceful cooperation. It is our pleasure to entertain and surprise you with the most inspirational music from around the globe, wonderful creations by artists and performers and a host of activities to amuse and enlighten you.
We invite you to enter this Collective Vision of ideas, dreams and free expression. Share these three days of summer: camping , dancing, laughing, having fun and creating with us a truly unforgettable festival experience.
The event is held in a scenic mountain location near Lehfed around 45 minutes from Beirut. The 3 day festival includes a main dance area, alternative music stage , extensive markets & stalls, wholesome foods, healing & workshops program, childrens area, arts installations & performers, camping area and other activities.
BARAKAH FESTIVAL 2012 aims to encourage and stimulate youth culture from around the world in all its forms, including electronic and traditional music, folk, drama, mime, juggling, cinema, poetry and all the creative forms of art and design, including ancestral sounds and those create with the latest new technologies". - Please carpool & drive responsibly!! It’s not only better for the environment, it’s better for your pocket book! Please be mindful when planning your weekend and transport as many people with each vehicle as is safe. Sharing rides is also a great way to make a new friend or two! or there is the possibility of a bus from Beirut city centre.
